I practiced my omelet skills this morning. Cheese, and bacon omelets
for the kids, and I added a little salsa to mine as well. I am really
good with omelets thanks to Dana-she gave me the perfect non-stick pan
that is just the right size. There are a few skills I feel the need to
keep sharp. This is one of them. You never can tell when you will be
called upon to produce a wonderfully impressive breakfast. My most
awesome girlfriend really appreciates my cooking!!!
The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck

Really, he is a fantastic cook! He has a way with herbs and spices that I never could get the knack of. We're supposed to go pick apples with the kids soon so that he can make his mother's apple butter. Now that I think about it, that would be a great idea for X=mas gifts.
