The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck

Stranded at Steak n' Shake
Well, one day before (ok, its really like 8 HOURS BEFORE!) my appointment at the garage, my car, which has been hesitant to start BUT STILL STARTED EVERY TIME finally died. The good news is I see some good come from the extra $1200+ on my friggin car loan. Roadside assistance up to $75 is provided. Hmmmmph. Talk about mixed bloody feelings! So is this karma backlash for finally letting Steven know what I think? I don't think so. If you ever met him you would know he's not the type to give even half a sh*t about the opinion of anyone who makes less than six figures. So its not like I hurt him or his non-existant feelings. At best it was a wake-up call. I doubt it in his case. He's as shallow as they come and has the lowest personal integrity I've seen. He's a salesman in every aspect of his life and has no truth or honesty left at this point. Well, my friend Patrick is in town tomorrow with his boys. They are camping at Mammoth Cave tonight... Hope to see him tomorrow. The bigger hope is that my car is not f.u.b.a.r.
