The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck

Logan Overcomes his fear
Saturday we went to the Holy Family picnic for a couple hours. I know the band that was playing plus there were games and rides. We listened to about three songs and the kids were antsy to go play, so we played a couple games and I won a cake. Then, I got an idea of how to get Logan over his fear of going upside down. They had the ride they used to call the Rock N Roll when I was a kid. Just like a ferris wheel, but the seats are caged and there is a lap bar. So it goes upside down and the best part is I could blame it on Lexie because I wasn't on the ride with him. He cried a little at first, but he was just scared and he was fine at the end. I asked him just now if he liked going upside down and he got a big grin on his face and said "Yeah!"
