Habitrail

This is what I want to get the kids for Christmas if I have the money. I had a gerbil when I was a kid. My 4th grade teacher had a couple as "class pets" and they had babies. Then at the end of the year, some students got to take one home. I didn't get a lot of choice on pets when I was a kid, so mom got me a Habitrail cage to keep it in and let me have it. I had Zach for a couple years in one of the original Habitrail cages. What I would like to do is get Lexie and Logan their own hamster or gerbil, then each their own cage and some connector tubing so the little rodents could visit each other. What do you think?
