Weekend: Lexie got her 'her did'

My present to Lexie was to let her get her hair done however she
wanted. I suggested she could get color (but not too much) or curls
(but not too much) and I pushed her to do something spectacular with
her hair that would make her feel nice, and pretty. She chose color
(and I cautioned her so that she didn't overdo it). She decided on a
layered cut with blond streaks. When she first got it done--before it
was washed and cut--it looked like skunk stripes and I was very
alarmed. After it was un-clumped, washed, cut, styled and dried, it
looked much better!

Now...simply adorable. She loves it, and I think it looks cute and
summery, and she did not have to give up her length! I'm so happy for
her!
