The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck

Nice neighbors...
We looked all around the park this morning for firewood. This is the first National Park I've been to that has nothing for rent or sale. We found a general store but they were out of wood and had no clue where to get any. I thought maybe a gas station so set the GPS. The closest was still a good distance so I told the kids to look for signs selling wood. After several miles and nothing I pulled in behind a couple in a truck to ask them if they knew where some could be had. They said "follow us we have plenty!" they gave us a whole trunkful of old deck lumber! I ofered to pay and they wouldn't take it.
