The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck

Donations now being taken!!!
In Indiana (right across the river) there is a historic home that is for sale...for only $1. Don't worry, I have the dollar covered. What I would like everyone on the internet to chip in on is the cost of the move (estimated at $200,000) and a small bit of land to plop it down onto ($100,000). The trouble is this has to be done before August 23rd.

Just send the money via cash, check, or money order to me via postal mail (contact me at the1weasel@gmail.com for the address which I won't give out over the internet!!) or you can Paypal it to nall.kelly@gmail.com if you want to use credit card. You can also email me if you want to donate a plot of land or movers services. :D
Please help me shamelessly profit (and provide a primary residence for my family) by saving this beautiful home built in 1864.

Father's day present: Logan's Mug
Here is the Logan Side of the mug. They are actually pretty good kids
when I can get them to stop talking back (Lexie), questioning
everything I say (Lexie), pick up after themselves (Lexie & Logan),
take out the trash (Logan), and help take care of the dog (Logan &
Lexie). Actually they are really good kids regardless of all that
common childhood junk. I love them very much.

Fathers day present: Lexie's Mug
Lexie and Logan made me this mug for father's day. They still have to
bake it, but then the ink is set and will not come off (except for
it's not dishwaser safe). We also went to Shalimar last night for
dinner, then came home and I watched "From Paris with Love" with Kat
and had a couple beers.

BSU Paraphenelia
A couple weekends ago my friend Vince and I rode to Michigan. On the way back, we stopped into Muncie so I could pick up some Ball State stuff. I got some stickers for my scooter, two t-shirts (they were buy one get one free!) and this bumpersticker.
Honda CRV Thermostat replacement
My sister has a 97 Honda CRV. She got the oil changed the other day, plus a flush and (supposedly) fill of the radiator. A few days later her A/C stopped working and the car was oveerheating. She took it back to the oil change place and topped it off, telling her she needed a new thermostat. I volunteered and told her I could replace it for her. Its a simple procedure, but unlike the other cars I have done this on, the thermostat was not behind the top radiator hose, but the bottom one. It was a bit of a bugger to get to, but with much swearing, sweating, and cursing, I got it replaced. Also I cound out she had almost NOTHING in her radiator!!! Either they forgot to fill after the flush, or something. When I took off the lower hose, only about four ounces of coolant came out. I had to add water just to make it safe to drive. I hope they drained some of the H2O out and replaced it with antifreeze so it'll be protected this winter!
Odd Paint Job
I cannot fathom why anyone would want to get a paint job on a car that would make it look like crap. If you get close, you can see its in good shape and the paint and clearcoat is about flawless. From a couple feet away it looks damaged!!

Passing through Austin
I don't know old the Dairy Queen in Austin, Indiana is, or if it was ever part of what is now a national chain, but it sure looks old enough to be the original!
