The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck

Busted
This morning I opened the door to Logan's room to tell him something and caught him in the act. I think he's too young still, but when I went to check his progress (he was supposed to be getting dressed) he was laying on his bed still in his night shirt READING! What kid at the age of seven sneaks a book around in their lunch box and reads when they should be doing other stuff? Admitedly some do, but I'm just so thrilled that he's excited and entertained by reading that he WANTS to read. It makes me proud.
